Phase A — Diagnostic Imaging Suite 

Watts Group is proud to deliver Phase A of the Akumin Health Clearwater facility, a full diagnostic imaging suite housing CT, X-ray, and MRI. Our scope included structural reinforcement to support the equipment loads, shielded wall assemblies built to specifications and full RF isolation for the MRI enclosure. This phase reflects our Design-Build approach and our commitment to building healthcare spaces that support exceptional patient care.

Phase B — PET/CT Suite 

Phase B represents a state-of-the-art PET/CT suite complete with hot lab, uptake rooms, and controlled-access corridor. Working hand-in-hand with the equipment vendor and design team, Watts Group completed rough-in, shielding, and inspections to meet the exacting tolerances that nuclear medicine construction demands. 

Phase C — Orthopedic & Women's Imaging 

Phase C brings orthopedic and women's imaging into the facility, with dedicated rooms for DEXA, ultrasound, and mammography. Our team's focus was on clinical-grade casework, lighting, acoustics, and durable flooring. This last phase unifies all three phases together with the reception area and connecting corridors under one entry. Watts Group is proud to partner with Akumin Health in delivering a cohesive, welcoming environment for patients and staff alike.
